TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The Macsteel Group of Companies employs qualified metallurgical staff at Head Office and at individual company level. It is the purpose of these individuals to offer a technical and advisory service to the customers of the Group.
OTHER TECHNICAL SERVICES
The Macsteel Group Technical departments, in addition to the above also offer:-
- Seminars on established and new materials, which will keep you informed of Steel Industry developments and educate plant personnel as to the most beneficial and safest use of steel.
- Plant surveys and “troubleshooting”, followed by detailed reports and recommendations.
- An advisory service on practical aspects of metal processing , such as welding, bending, rolling, corrosion protection etc.
- An advisory service on material selection for new processes or local alternatives, where overseas materials are specified.
